The number of deportations could reach 18,000 in the coming months as the expression of interest in residing in Portugal is no longer sufficient following a government decision in June last year.

Estas expulsões resultam da análise da estrutura de missão para a recuperação de Processos pendentes da AIMA, a Agência para a Integração, Migração e Asilo que concluiu que não cumprem os requisitos para ficar no país.
O número de deportações pode chegar aos 18 mil nos próximos meses uma vez que a manifestação de interesse em residir em Portugal deixou de ser suficiente por decisão do Governo em junho do ano passado.
